Statuesque was first published last summer. Back then Jedi Hamster pushed the colour of the greenery at Hampstead Pergola and I appeared further away, at the end of one of the walkways. For Throwback Thursday she’s cropped the image in and, in keeping with this month’s black and white theme, drained it of all colour. Which do you prefer?

We’d planned to meet on Monday but he messed his diary up.
‘Tuesday?’, he suggested.
‘That’s Valentine’s Day. Would it be weird?‘, I asked.
‘Doesn’t bother me if it doesn’t bother you’, he replied.
Saturday: The Wicked Wednesday Valentine’s Day story prompt is out. An idea takes hold. A simple shot, no need for words. First Date.
‘I might need you to take a photo of me next week’, I type.
Sunday: ‘My work thing’s been cancelled so Monday’s fine if you prefer?‘
‘No, my photo story won’t work if we don’t meet on Valentine’s Day’.
Well, they may as well know upfront what they’re letting themselves in for with me, right?

One day I’m going to get this woman naked (although to be honest I’d see getting her tights off as success!), but until that moment, here are her hands.

I rarely return to photos I’ve taken of other people or that others have taken of me. I fall a little bit in love with them for a few days, get joy from the comments and people’s response to them but then my mind scampers off to the next idea.
Not so with this one. I look at it a lot! Of all the photos I’ve ever taken of Exhibit A, this is pretty much my favourite. There are some that are more wow in their setting or that are a Pavlovian bell for happy memories, but this is the one that gives me a shiver whenever I look at it. I love the spunk on his fingers, the damp hair on his belly and the peace and calmness of a moment captured. And I love recalling the moments right before it was captured.
Watching men masturbate is one of my favourite favourite things to. If we were playing the sex equivalent of the ‘what would your last meal be?’ game, then watching a hot man wank would absolutely be my starter. I draw on fantasies of men masturbating a lot. They’re my ‘go to’ when I’m on my own and want a quick orgasm. When I’m with someone I frequently worry so much that I’m taking too long to come that I’ll feel a rising orgasm slipping away and if that happens I know exactly which fantasies to call on to bring it back (usually two of my lovers wanking together!). My most intense orgasms will always come when someone is talking out a scenario where multiple men are wanking over me.
So yes, there are lots of reasons I love this photo and lots of hot scenes it evokes for me…

“Sensitive people faced with the prospect of a camera portrait put on a face they think is the one they would like to show to the world. Every so often what lies behind the facade is rare and more wonderful than the subject knows or dares to believe.” Irving Penn
I commented yesterday that I hadn’t yet used a self portrait during February Photofest…

I am slightly conscious that we’re now more than a third of the way through February and I haven’t yet posted a self-portrait. But I have so many gorgeous photos of other people and lots of myself shot by others that I haven’t yet felt inspired by my self portraits. I said on day one I would try for a roughly equal split of other sitters, me sitting and self portraits, so at this rate there’ll be a flurry of self portraits at the end!
Today, I’m delighted to share the first of two shots there will be of Honey this month. Apart from Exhibit A (who doesn’t really count as he got me into all this!), Honey was the first person I photographed after joining the community. I still remember feeling so honoured and excited when she asked me to photograph her. I’ve photographed many more bloggers since and there’s more to come over the following weeks and it NEVER gets boring. If you ever fancy a daft giggly adventure with me and my camera do ask!
Back to Honey and her gorgeous breasts. Underneath their huge awesomeness is an even bigger heart that holds an endless amount of love and goodwill for so many. Stay brilliant lovely friend – for others and you! Xx
It’s Throwback Thursday! Last September I posted Body of Art, shot on the lush green lawns of Kew Garden and showcasing Tamsin Flowers’s amazing colourful tattoo. I did this edit back then and it was one of my favourite shots – that skull in black and white packs a punch! Despite loving it I didn’t use it at the time because alongside all the colour it looked out of place and lost some of its impact. I’m glad February Photofest has given me an opportunity to put it in the spotlight.

An unused photo from a series first published here. This shot is only very slightly different to the middle one in that series, but to hell with it – I love these photos and I’m happy to have another one out here!
